3E [Environment, Energy & Economy]
3E is an international organization dedicated to addressing the critical intersection of environment, energy and the economy in the current age. Starting out as a meeting of researchers in environmental sciences in Tsukuba, Japan's research cluster, 3E has combined forces with the Daejeon Green Growth Forum and is working to bring a new understanding of the relationship of the environment to energy issues and the essential definition of the economy.
The activities of 3E consist of the 3E Forum, a group of researchers in environmental technologies centered in Tsukuba, Japan, but including people around the world, the international 3E Forum which meets in China, Japan and Korea regularly, the 3E Cafe, a group of concerned students and citizens working on environmental and economic issues & the international 3E Cafe, a yearly gathering of young people concerned about the environment and economy.

A group of young people actively working to form a low-carbon society. Meet regularly to discuss issues of environment, energy and economy in Daejeon, Asia and the world.
The 3E Forum is a group of researchers and policy makers at Tsukuba University and the research institutes that make up the Tsukuba Cluster. The 3E Forum was founded in 2007 and works closely with the Daejeon Green Growth Forum. Experts in the 3E Forum discussed how the researchers in that cluster could improve collaboration and effectively use their technologies to make Tsukuba itself a leading center for environmental sustainability. More recently, 3E Forum has launched a series of international initiatives.
