Eoeun-dong 어은동

Eoeun-dong is located in Yuseong-gu, surrounded by Gung-dong, Guseong-dong, and the Gapcheon Stream. It mainly consists of the Hanbit Apartments, in addition to the Hanbit Plaza, a 5 story building with a bank, post office, various clinics, martial arts gyms, hakwons, and et cetera. Also, since the neighborhood is right between the Chungnam National University and the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), there are many bars, small clubs, restaurants, PC rooms, and noraebangs for students. The Yuseong Gu 유성구 (District) office is also located between the Hanbit Apartments and the Gapcheon Stream. The peaceful and nature-friendly environment of Eoeun-dong especially suits family units. Yurim Park is also within Eoeun-dong.

The Hanbit Apartments have thousands of residents that live mainly in family units. Houses size from 69.42㎡ to 168.59㎡, and there are 3,144 households. Finished in 1992, the buildings themselves are slightly old and many aspects of the houses need repairments, but the overall environment of the apartment complex is peaceful and safe for families.
