Old Town: Around the Chungnam Provincial Office

There are a remarkable group of excellent restaurants, galleries and other hidden treasures around the old provincial offices of Chungnam Province. The provincial offices themselves will be moved to Hongseong soon, now that Daejeon is a metropolitan City and no longer part of Chungnam, but the building itself is most attractive. Walking around the neighborhood will reveal some extraordinarily attractive buildings from another era as well.
