Information for Internationals in Daejeon

Daejeon is one of the most livable of Korea’s cities with its compelling mix of residents from other regions of the country. Thanks to the major research centers in Daejeon, it also has one of the largest populations of foreigners of any place in Korea. Moreover, the level of education is extremely high and the ratio of Ph.D. holders quite impressive. All that makes for a very stimulating environment for students and faculty.

Whether you are walking along the Kapcheon River near the glimmering Smart City & Daedeok Innopolis complex, enjoying shopping at the luxurious Galleria Department Store in Dunsan, or eating at one of the fine restaurants in Mannyeon, Daejeon has something for everyone.
